Life for the Kauer family has been moving at SONIC speed lately.  Maybe it's because Joseph LOVES Sonic the Hedgehog and thinks he is Sonic and needs to run fast everywhere.  In April we went house hunting in Nebraska to get ready for our move to Offutt AFB near Omaha.  We were blessed to find a beautiful new home under construction.  It is so cute and we are excited to have a new house.  It is a ranch style home but with a full walkout basement.  The basement is unfinished, so we will have a few projects to do when we get there.  We will be building a 4th bedroom, family room, bathroom and my office.  Should be tons of fun.  We were blessed this week with finding renters for our home here in Washington.  We are very excited as they seem like wonderful people who will take care of our home.  It is scary renting as you never know, but this feels good.

We should hear back from the bank today that everything is good to go and the house should be finished around June 14th.  They have been giving us a little run around with telling us they need something one day then totally different the next.  Thankfully we have been nice and worked hard to get them what they want.

School is still in full swing for the boys.  Their last day isn't until June 15th, one more month to go.  We should be packing up here and on the road by the 16th of June....scary!  It is actually becoming real!  We have been in this house for 8 years now.  We moved to McChord AFB in January of 2003, so we know so many good people it is hard to leave, but we are excited for this new adventure.  I am even more excited that my husband will not be deployed for a few years!  That for me is the best part.
